Steam and thermal fluid platens are specifically designed for the rubber, plastic, laminating, and plywood industries. Although there are many basic platen designs, our talented engineers treat each and every project as if it’s truly one-of-a-kind. Blanchard grinders are so well known for their quality and precision that Blanchard grinding and rotary grinding have become synonymous. Our Supertec horizontal surface grinder is used for flat horizontal grinding, providing precision flatness and parallelism as well as a smooth finish. With over 50 years of Blanchard grinding experience, Venango Machine Company is a leader in all flat grinding services, specifically rotary grinding and surface grinding.

Deep hole drilling is a unique process used to produce long holes with a smooth finish; to accomplish it, we use special tools such as our Twin Spindle BTA, which is capable of drilling accurate holes at high speeds. Our 6-Axis CNC gundrilling machining center with a 30-position automatic tool changer has an 87″ X 79″ rotary axis table and is capable of drilling holes with diameters ranging from 1/4″ to 2.36 inches and up to 20 feet in length in most materials. In the area of gundrilling, we offer our customers tight hole diameter tolerance and a high-quality surface finish. Venango has over 50 years of experience in deep hole drilling and gundrilling.
